Recently, while poring over some research, I got a breathless call from my co-author buddy, Matt. “You won’t believe what I just found! Check this out.”according to the writer.

He sent me a link to a Baskin Robbins page, and what came up on my screen (gory details below - straight from their website) was a tower of nutritional insanity unmatched by any other beverage we’ve come across in our years of research.

Global Warming Reduces Hurricanes?

Global warming isn't to blame for the recent jump in hurricanes in the Atlantic, concludes a study by a prominent federal scientist whose position has shifted on the subject.

Not only that, warmer temperatures will actually reduce the number of hurricanes in the Atlantic and those making landfall, research meteorologist Tom Knutson reported in a study released Sunday.

In the past, Knutson has raised concerns about the effects of climate change on storms. His new paper has the potential to heat up a simmering debate among meteorologists about current and future effects of global warming in the Atlantic.

Ever since Hurricane Katrina in 2005, hurricanes have often been seen as a symbol of global warming's wrath. Many climate change experts have tied the rise of hurricanes in recent years to global warming and hotter waters that fuel them.

Another group of experts, those who study hurricanes and who are more often skeptical about global warming, say there is no link. They attribute the recent increase to a natural multi-decade cycle. See more here.

Tribute to All the Mom's in the World

I know I wrote this post very late hehheh sorry my past days was very hectic and busy, but still even my greeting for you is kin'da late I give you this with love and my all.

You and erpat made me, when the 9th month came,
You give me the chance to see the world,
When I got out from that soft bed that I was in.
Your touch gave me warmth when I fell cold coz I am naked.

I took a glance on you, and even though I can't see you clearly,
I know you so beautiful and pretty,
As time goes by, you showed me things that I don't know,
And taught me how to understand the words that came at your mouth.

You taught me how things should be done,
Like playing my favorite toy, how to eat my delicious food,
Identify colors, hold my spoon and everything that a child is.


I was very happy to have my first pencil and paper coz I will be going to school.
You're my first teacher and mentor, I learned from you my first ABC's and numbers 1 to 10,
At school I encounter a lot of things like listening to my teacher and play with my friends and classmates,
but you know what? I am very happy that you're always there for me when I needed you.

When the time comes that I should be on my own, you teach me lessons on how to handle things my own way,
Even in the times when I don't want to make my assignments, you're always reminding me,
Haha, also I still remember those days that I cannot understand multiplication and you always scold me because I am very stubborn,
But you know what, till now I don't know multiplication hehehheh I told you that already.
(note: just want to make the scenario funny heheh)

Now that I am matured already, I saw some changes in me,
I am not your baby anymore because am a BIG girl now,
I grow up independent and a responsible person,
Sometimes I get angry with you because you don't listen regarding some of our family matters,
Don't worry I understand you , you're just like me hard-headed hehheh.

When I recall those times that our family is experiencing the lowest part of our life, our ups and downs,
I saw you and dad's determination and sacrifices,
I jus't want you to know that , I got some of that traits of being a strong person.
So, I thank you to that.

All I can say is Thank you very Much for bringing me in this so called wonderful life above the ground on what so called earth.
Sorry for everything, my hard-headed mind, my "kakulitan", and my everything.
So, this is it am ending the drama of this hehhe.

Other thing except being NAKED

When I was reading my article feeds in bloglines an image catches my attention from Copyblogger. I was wondering what the article contains so I got surprised when I read it. It says:

It sounds great and idealistic to just be completely yourself online, to strip naked on your blog and hope people will love you. In practice, it’s not just scary, it’s a good way to give yourself a ferocious case of writer’s block. Not to mention making life easier for the occasional wacko or stalker. Read more here.

The writer really points a good way of showing nakedness in blogging. So, let us all be naked.
Am not saying the usual way of being naked but being naked to get more attention of your readers and get a greater traffic also being as competitive like others.
